Innovative Mobile Applications: M-Life is an extension of customized on-demand multimedia and commercial mechanisms with M-Care reaching beyond the conventional limits of healthcare.

HP, ERA Digital Media, and Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH) held a press conference to introduce the latest innovative applications of wireless communication. M-Life is an online shopping network accessible 24/7 through any handheld device, and M-Care is a mobile healthcare network. The two projects demonstrate the success of the “M-Taiwan Application Promotion Program” led by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

HP enjoys global leadership in technology development and is experienced in providing professional information services. ERA Digital Media offers its media and communication resources while TSGH contributes its medical care expertise. The alliance has developed an ecosystem covering several industries and has integrated innovative application services. M-Life and M-Care are the latest border-free, high-quality mobile audiovisual and healthcare platforms. M-Taiwan is realizing its vision by providing wireless broadband internet services.

          M-Care has been developed to present Taiwan the first ever online medical care platform in the world. It is a mobile medical care environment that offers every user in the medical resource supply chain timely, effective and border-free access. M-Taiwan also features the mobility and speed of wireless broadband networks. When medical service is required, the platform provides timely information and delivers medical resources to places where the service does not currently reach. M-Care not only enhances healthcare quality, but it also efficiently manages medical resources.
